Our dress code encourages children’s pride in their appearance and to increase their feeling of belonging to a caring school. Summer uniform is from May half term to October half term. Children should come to school dressed in accordance with the code below:
BOYS
White shirt with a school tie (summer: white polo shirts can be worn)
Charcoal grey trousers (summer: shorts can be worn)
Green school jumper
Dark, plain socks
Black shoes
GIRLS
White blouse with a school tie (summer: white polo shirts can be worn)
Green skirt or pinafore dress (summer: green/ white checked gingham dresses can be worn) or grey trousers
Green school jumper or cardigan
Green tights or green or white socks
Black shoes (sandals can be worn in the summer term)
School branded items such as jumpers, cardigans, book bags and PE bags are available from Morleys and Hamiltons. Tesco also do a limited range (online)

Long hair should be tied back in a green headband or bobble
No jewellery should be worn other than a watch and stud earrings. There should also be no nail varnish or make-up
All children need to bring a coat to school when the weather is cold for play times.
Please make sure that all clothes are labelled.
- P.E. -
All children take part in P.E. lessons and should come to school in their PE kit
White T-shirt
Black shorts
Plimsolls.
For warmth, children may also wear a plain bottle green hoodie or school jumper/cardigan, and plain black tracksuit/jogging bottoms.
- SWIMMING -
All children will be taken swimming while they are in Year 5. They will need a swimming costume and a towel. If children have long hair they will need to wear a swimming hat.
