Supertato!

Lesson 2 - WANTED! Evil Pea!

 

"I know who's behind this," said Supertato. "There's a pea on the loose!"

 

* You are going to create a WANTED! poster to help the vegetables capture the evil pea!

* Firstly, either on the sheet below or in your workbook, draw the evil pea as carefully as you can.

* Next, write some sentences to describe the evil pea, so that people will know him if they see him! You will need to describe how he looks, what his personality is like, and what he might be found doing (see the example below). 

 

Aliens & Monsters - 3 full sentences, each with a capital letter, finger spaces and a full stop. Try to use and if you can.

Superheroes & Pirates - 3+ expanded sentences, each with a capital letter, finger spaces and a full stop, using and and because.

 

* Remember to use you sound mat when sounding out words, and spell Tricky Words correctly.

 

Lesson 3 - New Super Vegetable

 

Oh no! The evil pea is on the loose again, but Supertato is away on holiday!

Who will save the day this time?

 

* You are going to create a new super vegetable! It can be any vegetable you like.

* Firstly, either on the sheet below or in your workbook, draw your new super vegetable and complete: 'Super ______'.

* Next, write some sentences to describe your new super vegetable, You will need to describe how he / she looks and what costume he / she is wearing (e.g. 'She has a long blue cape and a sparkly pink mask.'). You will also describe why he / she is a good super vegetable (e.g. 'She is very brave and strong.').

* You are going to create a storyboard to show how your new super vegetable save the day for 3 fruits / vegetables in danger!

* Firstly, take a look at the example below from Supertato.

* Next, either on the sheet below or in your workbook, draw your super vegetable saving 3 other fruits / vegetables from 3 different dangerous situations in the supermarket.

* Then write 3 sentences to explain what your super vegetable did (Superheroes & Pirates: and what power they used each time):

 

A & M e.g. He unwrapped the cucumber.

S & P e.g. He used his super speed to unwrap the cucumber.
