Task 1: 

 

  • Watch the CBeebies video (link below) about 5-year-old Tyra and her life in Ghana, Africa.
  • Talk to a grown up / older sibling about what you have learnt.
  • In your workbook, draw and write about the similarities and differences between your life in England and Tyra's life in Africa.
  • Remember to use your Phonics sound mat to help you with your writing.

  • Watch the Go Jetters video (link below) about The Sahara Desert in Africa.
  • Talk to a grown up / older sibling about what you have learnt.
  • Read more together about deserts and desert animals using the information below.
  • Answer this question in your workbook by drawing, labelling and writing:

  • Talk to a grown up / older sibling about what you have learnt, and then ask them to help you find out a bit more about Table Mountain using the internet.
  • Answer this question in your workbook by drawing, labelling and / or writing:
