Curriculum and Assessment

What does your child learn at school each day? Find information about our curriculum subjects here.

In line with the new Ofsted Framework (Sept 2019), the school is undertaking a full refresh of it's curriculum.  As the details of this become finalised, the curriculum will be published in the relevant pages.

We follow the National Curriculum - for full details, see below.  For all year groups, except Reception, we run a 2 year programme.  This allows teachers to work together in phases so, for example, Year 3 and 4 work together and do the same topics.  For details of the topics planned, please click on the links above.

Maths is taught daily in all classes.

In Reception, we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and support the children to achieve their Early Learning Goals in Number and Shape, Space and Measure.

In Years 1 to 6, we follow the White Rose scheme of work while integrate the mathematical fluency with solving problems.
